Ogden Canyon Updates

Dear Ogden Canyon Waterline Stakeholders,

This is a reminder about the scheduled closures of SR-39 through Ogden Canyon over the next few days while the contractor completes paving activities in the first phase of construction.

SR-39 will be closed to all through traffic according to the following schedule to complete the permanent asphalt paving in Phase 1:
·         Sunday, July 14 from 9pm to 5am
·         Monday, July 15 from 9pm to 5am

During the closures listed above, Canyon residents living east of the Phase 1 limits (everyone east of Fairmount Bridge including Fairmount residents) will need to access their homes from the east (the top of the canyon).  We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Best regards,

Jason M. Allen, P.E. Public Involvement
HORROCKS ENGINEERS

I arrived at the west end of Ogden Canyon this evening at 9:45 and it was all ready closed! I asked the attendant why and the reply ' I am not going to argue'. Come on people, we have been working around your schedule for months, give us a break and do what you say you are going to do. Do not randomly change the times, we are trying to make this work but I feel we are always giving and expected to feel good about it. Stop screwing with us

Frustrating. As if we haven't been inconvenienced enough and they close earlier than scheduled? And they set the schedule?
