Ogden Canyon Updates - Several "Hard Closures" this week.

Ogden Canyon Waterline Project Alert:

SR-39 through Ogden Canyon will be closed to ALL through traffic Friday, April 12, 2013, beginning at 10:00pm until 6:00am on Saturday morning.  The contractor will need the use of both lanes of traffic in order to install a water service interconnect and service lines across the street.

The location of this work is at the entrance of the Cobbles Subdivision.  During these closure hours, all canyon residents living west of The Cobbles will have to enter and exit the canyon from the west (the bottom of the canyon).  All residents living east of The Cobbles will have to enter and exit the canyon from the east (the top of the canyon).  

It will also be closed to ALL through traffic Sunday, April 14, 2013, beginning at 9:00pm until 5:00am on Monday morning, and again on Monday, April 15, 2013, beginning at 9:00pm until 5:00am on Tuesday morning.  The contractor will need the use of both lanes of traffic in order to install a water service interconnect and service lines across the street.

The location of this work is just east of the Fairmount Bridge (approximate address: 100 Ogden Canyon).  During these closure hours, all canyon residents living west of the Fairmount Bridge (including Fairmount residents) will have to enter and exit the canyon from the west (the bottom of the canyon).  All residents living east of the Fairmount Bridge will have to enter and exit the canyon from the east (the top of the canyon). 

Also, we are planning two hard closures of Ogden Canyon next week as we move traffic into the third phase.  These closures are scheduled to occur on the evening of Wednesday, April 17^th, and the evening of Thursday, April 18^th.
